A home based laundry service is an old AND new concept. No longer do we use fire to heat the water, large buckets to soak the clothing, wooden paddles for agitation, nor use hand crank wringers or clothes lines in the back yard.

In my modern home based laundry service I use High End non-commercial washers and dryers with premium settings from air dry to delicate to heavy duty.

Can I drop my laundry off?

No, we are a pick up & delivery service only. 

 

How do I book a service?

You can book your service directly from my website or you can book it through my app. Please download my service app from your app store. the App is CleanCloud dry-cleaning and Laundry. My store is "The Laundry Lady" in Midlothian, VA. Once you have created your account you have my schedule at your fingertips.

Do I have to be available for Pick up and Delivery?

No, while I do love to meet my customers in person I understand about busy schedules. Porch pick up and delivery are a great way to get things done in this post pandemic time.

How long does it take to get my laundry order back?

We do a next day turn around in most cases. My delivery hours are either between 9am-12pm or 5pm-7pm. If orders are 50+ lbs it may take 2 or more business days and we will notify you about the extension. Some exceptions to this do apply and we would talk directly to you about.

Can I send anything to be laundered?

We take all household & Business laundry with some exceptions. I DO NOT take rugs, curtains or any laundry with excessive pet hair, blood, urine, feces or mold. These items are more suited to be done in commercial laundry equipment such as a Laundromat or Dry-Cleaner would have.

How can I tell how much my laundry will weigh?

That may take a little practice. The best way to calculate this is by using a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag. If you fill it completely full with household laundry it will weight between 10-15 lbs after it is washed. 

 

How do I pay?

When booking your order you will be asked to put a Credit Card or Debit Card on file. After your Laundry order is cleaned you will receive an email about your cleaned order to include delivery times and final weight. This final email will also have the amount to be charged to your credit card/debit card. I will create an invoice and it will autopay using your CC/DC on file and you will then receive the paid, detailed invoice for your records.
